This page explains how Hadana Hoi An Guide is funded and how we keep the guide independent.
1. How this site makes money
Some links on this site are affiliate links to booking platforms such as Agoda. If you click one and complete a stay, the platform may pay us a commission. The commission comes out of the platform’s own revenue: the price you pay is the same as if you had gone to the platform directly, and we never add a fee.
Affiliate links are marked for search engines with rel="sponsored", as Google asks.
2. Independence from the hotel
Hadana Hoi An Guide is not owned by, operated by or endorsed by Hadana Boutique Resort Hoi An or its management company, and this is not the hotel’s official website. The hotel does not pay us, does not review our pages before they are published, and has no say in what we write. Hotel names and trademarks are used only to identify the hotel this guide covers.
3. How we research
- Facts come from the hotel’s published information, its listings on booking platforms and maps, checked against each other.
- Distances and walking times are measured from the hotel entrance on a map.
- Anything only the hotel can confirm is labelled as “on request” rather than promised.
- Every page shows the month it was last checked.
4. Images
The images on this site are illustrations created to reflect the hotel’s published appearance and surroundings. They are not photographs supplied by the hotel or taken from booking platforms. For photographs of the actual rooms, see the hotel’s listing on the booking platform.
5. Corrections
If something on this site is out of date or wrong, email [email protected]. We check and correct reports, and update the “facts checked” date on the page.
